NAPLAN online testing was disrupted across Australia when a technical outage forced authorities to halt assessments for students in years 5, 7 and 9. The website failure prevented more than a million students from logging in or caused their screens to freeze around 9am, with testing paused for over two hours while Education Services Australia investigated the problem. The NAPLAN testing window extends until 23 March, allowing schools time to reschedule the affected assessments.
