NATHALIE DUPREE is the author of fourteen cookbooks. She is best known for her approachability and her understanding of Southern cooking, having started the New Southern Cooking movement now found in many restaurants throughout the United States, and co-authoring Mastering the Art of Southern Cooking.
She has trained many stsudents, many of them now own restaurants, catering or other food businesses, edit magazines, have their own television shows and have written their own cookbooks.
Nathalie, has won wide recognition for her work, including four James Beard Awards. She was awarded the honor of “Grande Dame” for Les Dames d’ Escoffier, the highest honor for women who have excelled in the food industry. She was also named the 2013 Woman of the Year from the French Master Chefs of America, and in 2015 was named to the James Beard Who’s Who in America.
