Billson’s Brewery, located in the Victorian tourist town of Beechworth was originally founded by Englishman George Billson, who made his way to Australia via the California gold rush of the mid-1800s. However today, Billson’s Brewery is owned by Melbourne couple Nathan and Felicity Cowan, who sold their St Kilda home over 3 years ago and purchased the Beechworth property.

This is a story about a comeback. A return to quality. About the revival of craftsmanship & a commitment to local. About the truth that sometimes we don’t need to reinvent when we can simply restore.
