The National Aging in Place Council is a senior support network. Sara Shafiabady started the SF Bay Area chapter of the National Aging In Place Council after finding a gap between medical and non-medical forms of care coupled with the Medicare changes resulting in more people aging in place where they call home. Here she provides an overview of what all the council is doing to help the elderly population.
