Mary Sievers, a Garden City, NY resident and mother of four, is committed to community service. After a decade on Wall Street, Mary and her family made a life-changing decision to relocate to Singapore for her husband's career. This international experience heightened her appreciation for her hometown communities while reinforcing the universal values of human care, compassion, and understanding.Upon returning to the US in 2013, Mary began engaging in community activities through her children. In 2018, she became a member of the Garden City Chapter of the National Charity League. This organization's mission is to nurture the mother-daughter bond through a lasting dedication to philanthropy, culture, and leadership. She and her daughter Ryan embraced a tradition of giving back to their community.During her time with the Garden City Chapter of NCL, Mary has held important roles on the board. Most recently, she served as the Chapter President, showcasing her leadership and commitment. Before that, she was the Vice President of Philanthropy, where she guided the chapter’s charity relationships and volunteer opportunities.
