This is the first time any country is doing this for its citizens outside the geographical limits of the country. Nigeria Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has responsibility for it. TGR has the mandate to enroll Nigerians in the diaspora and we start with South Africa.
Thebez Global Resources (TGR) has the mandate from NIMC amongst service providers to enrol Nigerians in diaspora in the National Identity database. TGR is working in partnership with Cox and Kings Global Services (CKGS) to provide administrative services for processing of NIN enrollment applications in South Africa.
