This episode features the duo of Will Smith and Mike McCartin of The National Links Trust whose plan includes the resurrection of three municipal courses in our nation's capital.  East Potomac, Langston and Rock Creek are three courses that have major architectural and historical significance in the game of golf, but have not lived up to their potential as compelling public golfing venues.  Smith and McCartin have aligned a few of the greatest architects of the modern era in Gil Hanse, Tom Doak and Beau Welling to create three uniquely new layouts that will connect the game of golf to the national parks and the communities that they reside in.
