In this episode, Emily Stone, participation manager at National Portrait Gallery, UK, joins me to talk about a collaboration with the Museum of Croydon. As part of London Borough of Culture 2023, volunteers will be taught to examine archives, undertake research and develop a display (in conjunction with professional artists) that celebrates British Caribbean communities and significant individuals who have had an influence on modern Croydon.
