The 2025 National Risk Assessment has been published, and a new financial crime portal launched. The assessment identified Gibraltar’s exposure to money laundering, terrorist financing and other relevant risks. We spoke to National Coordinator Designate for Anti Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism, Annette Perales.

In sport Jose Mari Ruiz shared the big news about Lincoln Red Imps who are now guaranteed a place in the Conference League after winning their game against FC Noah.  After a 0-0 draw away in Armenia, Lincoln won on penalties 6-5. The Gibraltar FA say Lincoln is the first-ever Gibraltar club to qualify for the UEFA Europa League play-off round. We also spoke to Kevin 'Salsa' Parody, Lincoln's first number six, and lifelong Lincoln fan.

The National Celebrations programme has been announced. The fair, exhibitions and live music are planned for the next few weeks. The fair starts on the 23rd August at the Victoria Stadium. That will be on until the 31st August. But there’s a lot more to come, as Jodie Ferrar and Jesse McClaren from Gibraltar Cultural Services told us.

We have spoken before about the excellent work done by local charity Action4Schools in Sierra Leone. Jimmy Bruzon's work there has seen him link up with Joe & Sarah Boxall. Joe and Sarah run a charity called Spark2action in Sierra Leone. They are Christian missionaries who work with the needy, including with a drugs rehab project.
