As Jamaica celebrates emancipation day today, the nation's leaders are calling on citizens to reflect deeply on the legacy of freedom, hard-won by the ancestors and the responsibilities that come with it. 

Prime Minster, Dr. Andrew Holness urged Jamaicans to renew their dedication to protection and advancing the liberties secured through immense struggle.
