This morning we celebrated 7 years of Hope Church Sittingbourne with Nations Sunday.

It was amazing to worship King Jesus whilst praying and singing in a multitude of languages. We gave thanks for the 10+ nations amongst us, a small foretaste of what heaven will look and feel like, and we prayed for the nations on our doorstep and the nations beyond us.

We welcomed old friends and quite a few new ones as people came to celebrate and give thanks in their national dress, bringing tasty food from their home nations to share for our International Lunch afterwards, plus our Hope Kids had an awesome time learning about faith and having fun together.

We also shared where we feel the Lord is taking us in the season ahead…

“I will make you into a great nation,

and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

and you will be a blessing.

I will bless those who bless you,

and whoever curses you I will curse;

and all peoples on earth

will be blessed through you.”

Genesis 12:2-3
