In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we are mashing up two of our favorite indigenous subjects: Lyda Conley & Susan La Flesche Picotte. Conley was a formidable fighter for justice & the preservation of Wyandot cemetery. Susan was a the first Native American woman to receive a medical degree.  Please consider donating this month to an indigenous charity, especially one that works towards helping women & LGBTQ+ folks.
