In this episode, you will learn more about the 'Culture Story' of Kumu Micah Kamohoalii. He is a Native Hawaiian, educator, and a descendant of King Kamehameha I. In this conversation, we learn about some of the traditional practices of his family and how they have changed since colonization and annexation of their kingdom. We also learn about how he perpetuates cultural practices by running his Hula school on the "the big island" of Hawaii and through his clothing line. Through the traditions of dance, he has been able to learn and share the history and stories of his people. We hope you enjoy learning from Kumu and hearing about some of his Culture Story.
