The Nativity of John the Baptist is a Solemnity in which we honour the birth of St John the Baptist. He is the cousin of Jesus Christ and the parents of Zachary and Elizabeth. He was a prophet who preached the message of repentance to the people of Jerusalem. He converted many and prepared the way for the coming of Jesus. This fest days comes six months before the birth of Jesus.
