Kit Kline is the founder of Nature Based Therapy. She was born in Canada, a descendant of the Wampanoug people on her paternal side and migrated to Australia in 1982. Kit has 20 years’ experience working in the mental health sector both in mainstream and Aboriginal community healthcare. 

Kit is due to complete her masters in social work in 2022 and holds both a master's and bachelor's degree in Aboriginal studies as well as postgraduate qualifications in mental health, alcohol and other drugs, welfare, holistic healing, youth work and training and assessment. Kit is a graduate and alumni of the Leaders for Geelong program and is passionate about social justice and environmental justice. Kit lives on the surf coast of Victoria, has four children and enjoys spending time in nature, traveling and learning about different cultures.
