Gary has more than 40 years of plant and gardening experience, an interest that started on his family’s farm. Gary is constantly adding to his knowledge of plants, including trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. His specialty interests are native plants, fruit trees (especially heirloom apple varieties) and heirloom vegetables. With his training as an engineer, Gary brings a unique perspective in landscape designs utilizing plants, water features and hardscapes, such as stone, pavers and wall blocks. Gary is a Certified Green Industry Professional (CGIP) through the Michigan Nursery and Landscaping Association (MNLA).
