Take a glimpse into what it was like being Gurjeet. Gurjeet grew up calling Surrey, BC home after moving from the City of Vancouver around the age of 10.Aspiring to work for NASA, Gurjeet would graduate from Enver Creek Secondary to enter Simon Fraser University as a first-year studying engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics. After taking many classes and interning at places like Blackberry, Gurjeet switched academic paths from Mechatronics and Business into Systems Engineering. Gurjeet talks about his journey outside of university and the difficulty of findings jobs. After being rejected numerous times, he studied for three months and found himself leading development at a local start-up.The graduate spent three years at the start-up and eventually pursued a career software engineer, working at Boeing as a full-stack developer. With a desire of assisting communities to accelerate financially, Gurjeet founded Nava Ventures.
