Oncology Nurse Navigators join our panel discussion this month. I got the opportunity to learn about what it’s like being a nurse navigator for cancer patients when I had a discussion with Frank Delarama, a prostate cancer nurse navigator at Palo Alto Medical Foundation Hospital in Palo Alto California, and Tammy Allred, a lung cancer nurse navigator from the University of North Carolina Cancer Center in Chapel Hill, N.C. They shared their nursing experiences and drive to help patients get through this difficult time of their lives.
