Navigating Challenging Child Behaviors with Dr. Ankhesenamun Ball

Listen Later

Executive Clinical Director and Clinical Neuropsychologist, Dr. Ankhesenamun Ball, meets with Bryce Hamtilon LSCSW to delve into understanding our children’s behaviors, positive, and negative, and how to help address potentially problematic behavior. Dr. Ball helps parents understand why children struggle with challenging behaviors, explains how to stay consistent as a parent and recover from periods of inconsistency. Together they discuss and share ideas on how to help effectively minimize behavior that is less than ideal while encouraging more positive behaviors.

Dr. Ball brings understanding into child and teen psychology for parents so that they can better implement consequences for children, help teach and model self regulation, and understand what expectations are realistic for our children to achieve.
