Leslie is an assistant principal at Spanish Fort Middle School and public speaker...but most importantly a mom to four amazing kids.  Like so many of us she was thrust into distance learning, homeschooling, and navigating working from home...all while managing four kids!  She shares with us some of the challenges, as well as the positives,  she has noticed that came with being quickly placed in the distance learning/virtual world.  She also talks about the struggles she has noticed with device time among teens (and related issues) not just in the past within her school, but currently what she sees as some of the challenges as device time continues to rise.  Leslie is open, honest and transparent in her own struggles as a parent, but incredibly encouraging for other parents to keep going, stay positive and most importantly check in with your kids.
