Today on the podcast we’re having a real conversation about the journey of faith, mental health and infertility with my friend and therapist Alex Thompson, who was so gracious about sharing her lived experience. Alexandra Thompson, LCSW is the Counseling Director of Cumberland Counseling Services, a counseling practice inside of Cumberland Community Church just outside of Atlanta, GA. She is in the beginning stages of trying to integrate clinical counseling centers into every church in America! In addition, Alex and her husband have a precious baby boy named Anders whom they adopted at 5 days old. She struggles with unexplained infertility, tried to get pregnant with her husband for 3 years before meeting their son, and she has a huge heart for adoption advocacy.
