Walk After Falling Podcast

Navigating Female Friendships

Listen Later

In Episode 21, Noel Huddleston joins us to share her walk with navigating female friendships.

Noel bring some serious Enneagram 7 energy with her fun-loving, joyful spirit. Think of your favorite female lead in your favorite movie, and that does not even come close to the strength Noel brings day in and day out.

Noel describes the real struggle women have creating and sustaining deep friendships with other women. She talks about the competition and envy that can be so rooted in female friendships. She also shares on the realities of being a Black female in a culture that often overlooks and undervalues people of color.

Noel brings an abundance of experience in leadership, from serving as President of the Black Student Union at Trinity Christian College to leading small groups and becoming a self-made, virtual host for Soul City Church online services.  She also opens up on what life is like as a social worker, sharing the difficulty and heaviness some cases can bring. She is the perfect example of someone who has worked so hard to get to she's at. She has done it all and continues to do even more. You never know where you might see her next, but we do know Noel is someone worth building a friendship with.
