Welcome to the Mission Mama Podcast. I’m Danielle Duffey—Grief Educator, Army Veteran, Southern Minnesota Farm Wife, and proud mother of four beautiful children, including my angel son Blake. Thank you for joining me today as we dive into a topic close to my heart.
I felt called to record this episode before we head out for a few days away. The past few weeks have been a whirlwind, truly expansive in ways I could never have imagined.
Just when I thought no one was listening to this podcast, a few women reached out to say that the recent episodes were inspiring. Your encouragement means so much—I truly appreciate it. You know who you are.
As I reflect on how I arrived at this moment, I realize that grief is the ultimate teacher. Moving forward after loss is no small feat, but I want to confidently say that if you’re walking through grief, you can and will move forward. You might feel like you’re lost in the clouds right now, and that’s okay. Grief shouldn’t be rushed, even though we often feel like it should be. After all, grief is the ultimate sacrifice for love. Doesn’t that resonate deeply?
