With over 30 years of entrepreneurship experience creating, building, and operating six full service restaurants, a craft brewery and a micro bakery, Chris Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge from the private sector to compliment his time spent in the public sector working in Municipal/Regional tourism and post secondary education. A snapshot of his core strengths and achievements across a variety of industries ranging from: Brand creation/implementation to Team Building.

Chris has created brands to represent the services of companies through strong visual awareness, brand story association and target market connectivity. He has achieved this through the creation of hospitality venues ( Jose’s Noodle Factory, Howl at the Moon Saloon, Patrick O.Ryan’s Irish Pub ), Walkerville Brewery and currently alongside his daughter at Riverside Pie Cafe. Each project was distinctly different, concepts targeted specific demographics, and strong recognizable brands were established within the targeted market. He emphasizes strong focused messaging across a variety of advertising platforms, engagement in community, and superior guest experience.

Chris has also developed the concepts from theme, menu, culture, and customer experience in support of each of his brands. He created entire brand packaging for all restaurants/bakery/brewery as well as consumable packaging on initial product skus for Walkerville Brewery. Behind every successful venture is a strong team. Chris has single handedly cultivated a number of strong teams across a variety of industries. He believes leadership is established through recognition of the strengths and weaknesses of individuals, empowerment, balancing diversity, presenting opportunities for growth, and mutual respect for both the team member and the brand/goal that all are working towards.
