We begin the journey to bringing mental health to the forefront with our "navigating mental health" discussion. In today's episode, we tackle the broken relationship between the Black community and mental health. A relationship that's built on traditional beliefs concerning mental health, factors like systemic racism and financial issues, and disparities in mental health treatment. We also take a look into our inner child and what it looks like to metaphorically "mother" our inner child.
