This week we're doubling back to clarify a few things from last week that you guys had some questions about dealing with the application of Matthew 23 on the modern context and impact of Jesus' words on us today while still considering the original context of the chapter. 

In the clarification we're unpacking the realities of how easy it is as a human to miss the point of Jesus' words and make our own perspective the most important aspect of how we process the world. 

Once we finish up the clarification from last week, we're finishing up the chapter by completing Jesus' statements against the religious leaders and unpacking His heart of full display as He laments what is going to happen to the people who rejected Him.
