In this episode, Dr. Matt Rain shares his GOLDen insights on how to Navigate the Pandemic with Web3 Technology & Science.
Dr. Matt Rain is a molecular geneticist who's spent the last 20-some-odd years working in biomedical research and watching too many loved ones battle cancer. Over the years, he came to recognize 2 giant bottlenecks in cancer research, and then he learned that both of them could be UNjammed with powerful AI and simple blockchain technologies.
So, he launched a SW startup to make that happen — to unstick those research bottlenecks around the globe. When they needed to raise capital to hire more programmers, they decided that, rather than focusing on traditional venture capitalists/angels, why not take their story to the NFT marketplace along with some amazing art that depicts the natural little miracle of the SARS-CoV2, spike protein, and hold an “art sale” fundraiser to accelerate our informatics R&D.
