In Proverbs 26 the illustration is clear. When someone sets a trap to wrongful harm a person, they themselves will likely fall prey to their own trap. Easy enough.. However I would add that this type of "trap setting" is the very plan BIBLICAL idea to the sin of hate is manifested. When one finds a hate stirring up in their heart for another person, ideas of vengeance, revenge, or some type of harm causing comes to one's mind. However the scriptures are VERY CLEAR that any type of vengeance for even the harshest of crimes (such as murder) is left for the LORD to administrate. Thus, hatred in an action to plan and execute a way to "get back" at someone for treating you wrong.
