His parents both narrowly escaped from the Nazi SS in Austria and Germany. They met after the war in New York. Larry tells an amazing story of how they were able to get started in America. His mother is still alive in New York!
Larry's brother was determined to be a Conscientious Objector and served for 2 years working in a Goodwill Store in New York as alternative service.
