Brian Huber, known as “Birdyologist” on Instagram, is a waterfowl biologist with California Waterfowl. Brian joins us to talk about the banding program on the west coast, what they’ve learned, what they’re methods are and what kind of crazy experiences they’ve had.

The first season of the North American Waterfowl Show features some of the craziest band stories we’ve heard. We’ve got a series of episodes coming from finding rare bands, to the origination of banding to the longest migration on record. We recorded them in 2021, but are finally getting around to releasing them. These episodes will available to download, stream and watch.
