Carlos talked about his podcast wth Nate Robinson and how each of them were both approach by people offering them money to go to school which they both turned down. Carlos talked about his family values and what he learned from his parents about earning what you get and not having things handed to you. Carlos told us he wanted to make it on his own or fail on is own.
Carlos talked about how tough it is as a student and the work lod you have but even more difficult when you play a sport for the university. Carlos mentioned he would like to see athletes get paid for their services from the NCAA or school that they are playing for. Carlos talked about playing going straight to the pros in order to make money to take care of their families and that's why you see more players going over seas and then coming back to play in the NBA. Carlos gave us his impressions of the Sean Miller story saying you can't judge a book by it's cover and at the end of the day you need to have all your facts straight before you start accusing people of a crime. Carlos thinks it's ridiculous that kids get in trouble for having somebody buy them a meal according to the NCAA. Carlos talked about the players mocked in the first round for the NBA coming out of college.
