On Wednesday's episode of the Juice Time Podcast, myself and Nick Osen were joined by our good friend Max Acker to talk about the NBA and its unique position heading into July. We discussed the likelihood of a possible Finals matchup between the LA Lakers and Milwaukee Bucks, as Nick is a loyalist to LeBron & Co., and Max is a die-hard Bucks fanatic. Max expressed his confidence in the Bucks having somewhat of an easy road to the NBA Finals, as the rest of the Eastern Conference has not put up much of a fight throughout the regular season. Nick exuded confidence in the Lakers making it to the final stage of the playoffs, but was not completely sold on Milwaukee getting past teams like the reigning NBA Champion Toronto Raptors and the fiery Boston Celtics. Moving forward, we discussed the amenities available for players at their resorts in Orlando, which we all felt will not be the focal point for most individuals striving for an NBA Title. Lastly, we showed respect to Damian "Dame Time" Lillard, as he was recently named the cover athlete for NBA 2K21.
