Elected Government officials are the ones making legislative decisions about privacy and security policy, so what level of understanding to they need to do their job. Today's guest is Mayor  Herb Atchison of Westminster Colorado. Mayor Atchison is open with our host about areas he feels he understands and those where he may need for more support from experts. 

We were introduced to Mayor Atchison during last year's government officials training event held by the National Cybersecurity Center (NCC). He shares with us what he learned at the event and the valuable connections and direction he gathered to help with governing the city of Westminster. It is fitting to air this conversation now as this year's elected officials training has just around the corner, November 1-3 of 2017.
