NCPR Interview: Stefanik wants bipartisan border solution

President Trump is threatening once again to declare a state of emergency in order to divert funding and manpower to build a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border. He told the New York Times yesterday he might act as early as mid-February.
This comes after Trump triggered the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, in a failed bid to pressure Democrats in Congress to fund the border wall.
North Country Congresswoman Elise Stefanik spoke in-depth with Brian Mann about this fight. Stefanik, a Republican, says the government shutdown caused real pain here in our region.
