🎙️ Why does management history matter for today's doctoral students?

In this episode of the AOM New Doctoral Student Consortium (NDSC) Podcast, Kayla Kozak speaks with Dr. Ellen C. Shaffner, Assistant Professor at Mount Saint Vincent University and Student Representative-at-Large for the Academy of Management's Management History (MH) Division.

Ellen introduces the field of management history and discusses how examining the past can help scholars better understand today's organizations, theories, and management practices. We also explore her research bringing intersectionality into historical organizational research and the range of methodological approaches available to management history scholars.
