Part 2 with my friend and fractional CFO Crystal Haight. Last time on CFO Unplugged, Crystal said asking for help was hard, but actually receiving it was even harder. So we picked it back up right there.
Watch Part 1 - https://youtu.be/eUgo-SAO_JM?si=Y3zT6GmfYt_S_4o2
We get into the ego of "I can figure it out," what happens when giving becomes your whole identity, and the question that changed everything for me: what do you want to do before you die? Crystal also calls me out for going quiet at a networking event, and I explain why I protect my energy now. Growth is messy. People will put you in a box and won't like it when you step out. Be you anyway.

Rashida Saunders called me out on a major event in my life and asked whether I was going to create a video (https://youtu.be/YGE7mC8e8bQ). I did, and told her she had to talk about it too.
Rashida is a public servant, an author, and the founder of Black Ember Press. She wrote Permission to Break, hosts the Compassion Over Silence podcast, and is building a nonprofit called Black Ember House while working a full-time job and raising a teenage daughter.
We talk about how your personal demons become your business obstacles, why accepting help was the hardest thing she has ever done, how she got comfortable saying no for right now instead of no forever, and what legacy actually looks like when the car and the title and the degrees still leave you empty. If you are building something on the side, if you are the person everybody leans on, or if you have ever been told you are too much, this one is for you.
What is the hardest no you have ever had to say?

Most founders think growth stalled because they picked the wrong tactic, so they buy another template, chase another trend, and end up working twice as hard for the same number. That's not a tactics problem. That's a leak.
In this episode of NDUB with no Borders, I break down the 3 leaks quietly draining your revenue and what it takes to patch each one. I close it out with a client we scaled 300% by fixing these three things and nothing else.
If you're a small business owner, solo entrepreneur, or DIY founder who's tired of patching holes, this episode is for you. Want the build-it-yourself version of what I do for clients?
The DIY Marketing Class walks you through the landing page, the CRM, and the offer structure that turns rented attention into an audience you actually own: https://ndubbrand.com/the-diy-marketing-kit-class/

In this video podcast, I'm sharing the raw, unedited footage of myself working out with Brandon Shewbert of Limitless Fitness. It's our second shoot, but we've been working together for three months, and it's been one of the best decisions of my life.
Our first podcast was painful: https://youtu.be/2VaNPejvHV4
The healing journey of the body is so layered, to the point where we store stress, move to do things, and just function as a human being. I came to him with my so-called "bad knees" and "torn rotator cuff" issues, and it was nothing that I thought.
This was a 90-minute workout, and Brandon doesn't come short of giving you 100%.

In this video, I'm sharing raw, unedited footage of myself alongside the story behind it: growing up as the "fat kid," dealing with a speech impediment, and carrying the weight of family dysfunction and how other people saw me.
The moment I sat down and watched footage of myself for the first time: the number on the scale, the shame I've carried, why I was scared to post this, the people-pleasing that came from hiding my weight, and why I'm sharing it- because it's my story.
It's not for everyone, but it's about being honest about where I've been so I can move forward. As I like to say, "Keeping social media real.." this isn't a highlight reel. It's NOT a super personal diary of everything, but enough to let folks know they're not alone in their journey. Sometimes, it takes an uncomfortable long look at yourself, body image, and see what it actually takes to start the healing instead of just hiding.

LeBron James just launched his own YouTube channel, and it's not just for highlights. In this episode of NDUB with no Borders, I break down the 3 real reasons a global superstar like LeBron is moving onto YouTube, and why the same playbook applies whether you're an athlete, entrepreneur, or small business owner building your own brand. From staying relevant with a younger audience to turning content into recurring revenue, these are lessons anyone building a personal brand needs to hear.

Taking my two sons out for a round of golf sounded simple, until I had to juggle client calls, a hot course, and teaching them the game from scratch. In this episode of NDUB with no Borders, I bring my boys out for their first real round, from their first drives to a mid-round break for steak bites and shrimp.
Along the way, we talk about coaching them to aim for the flag, surviving a rough hole (I ended up in a ditch), and running into an old friend from an Arizona trip. I also get into why golf is one of the best places to build real relationships and close business deals, and by the back nine, the round turns into a full breakdown of the "short game" and why the same discipline that wins on the green is exactly what wins in marketing and client work.

On this episode of NDUB with no Borders, Nathan sits down with Crystal Davis, a former nuclear engineer, founder, and consultant with a story that goes in a dozen directions at once. Crystal opens up about being held at an evaluation and treatment center, her time working at Amazon and Bechtel, a call she made to the FBI, and a family history she says includes Honduran royalty and German-Jewish roots. It's a raw, unfiltered conversation that touches on neurodivergence, faith, family, and her own theories about science and scripture.

Join us for a golf trip where the heat was extreme but the courses were worth the effort. See what happens when plans go sideways. It was the 6th Annual BGA trip, and Scottsdale, Arizona was the destination. The video doesn't show the intense heat, especially while going to the different courses. We keep it real. If you are planning a golf travel itinerary, watch this video.
