Nebuchadnezzar II was the greatest king of the Neo-Babylonian Empire, that rules Mesopotamia in the 6th - 7th centuries BCE. He is best known for destroying the kingdom of Judah, for which he has earned a mention in the Hebrew Bible and also for his great building projects in the city of Babylon. This is his story.
