In honor of Women's History Month, we wanted to dedicate an episode to the power that womanhood has gifted this world. We discuss why learning the history of women is important and open up about the women who empower and inspire us. We are both so grateful to be surrounded by so many divine and powerful female energies and we are so lucky to share our power with all of you. Happy Women's History Month!

In this week’s episode we dive into how we are feeling as we get closer to the one year mark of the first lock down announcement. We bring up the concept of violated expectations and how the pandemic has impacted our lives as two optimists navigating their early 20s. We also want to send our love to anyone who is feeling fragile, emotional, and even frustrated with what is going on in the world around us. We’re right here with you, and we look forward to seeing more growth in love and empathy for us all.

This week we noticed that we were feeling extra fragile with our emotions. Could be because of retrograde, could be because everyone who was in a relationship this Valentine's Day decided to use instagram as their personal scrapbook of their entire relationship (no tea no shade, love to all the people who feel happy with their significant others). Regardless, we both realized that it came down to letting our insecurities get the best of us. We also noticed that a lot of people around us, single or not, were feeling the same way. This episode is meant to open up the topic of feeling insecure as we dive into how we experience and deal with it. Our main hope is that anyone who listens feels a little less alone about the universal feeling of self-criticism, in hopes that more people can overcome their insecurities to find power in vulnerability.

In honor of Valentine's Day coming up, we wanted to have an episode all about love. So, naturally, as two, almost 22 year old, girls who have never had a long-term romantic relationship, we got into topics regarding the lack of romance in our lives and how that came to be. We also cover other types of love, such as self-love, friend love, and the ways in which we express our love. We had a lot of fun gathering questions from some of our friends to answer in this episode and we hope there is something to take away for everyone. WE LOVE YOU!!

In this week's episode we reached out to our nearest and dearest friends and family, and had them ask us some questions. We dove into topics ranging from soulmates to celebrity crushes. We even got into the topic of dealing with fake friends. We both had a lot of fun recording this episode, and we're excited for people to learn a little bit more about who we are and the necessary drama that we have gone through.

This week we discuss our personal experiences with setting boundaries. We are both still learning to navigate the proper way to set boundaries, but we noticed that it is a common theme in a lot of our different circles and relationship during this time in our live. Our hope is that we can continue to grow and become better at defining what a proper boundary means to us, and that if you are listening you can relate.

This week we decided to do a little "get to know us" activity using our favorite conversation card game, "We're Not Really Strangers". We both adore this brand so much and have had so many excellent conversations because of it, so we thought it would be a great way to introduce the deeper parts of our personalities for the podcast. We also dove into some topics such as vulnerability, trust, and boundaries.

In this week's episode we dive into a topic that we are both still learning to navigate: performative activism and the impacts of social media. After the events that took place on Wednesday, January 6th, we felt it was necessary to open up the ongoing conversation regarding being informed and how best to spark conversations with others. As two young girls who are growing up in the digital age of social media, we have noticed certain patterns that should be avoided, and in contrast are beneficial to sustaining a long term movement. We urge you to take our opinions with a grain of salt, and to seek out information from various sources. We are so lucky to be a part of the dialogue of this topic, and we hope we inspire you to do the same.

Imposter Syndrome is so common in all phases and walks of life. The easiest way to fall into the trap of this paradox, is to not talk about it. As two 21 year olds, about to enter into the world of career and "adult life," we constantly find ourselves feeling like we are either lost or unqualified for the positions we are applying for. In this episode we talk about the different ways that imposter syndrome manifests itself into our lives and how we try to manage it.
