I'm a Jew. I was born and raised in Brazil, as part of the Jewish community in my city of Porto Alegre, in the south of Brazil. At a very young age (7), following my older siblings, I joined a Zionist Socialist Movement called Ichud Habonim, which is connected to the original Workers Movement in Israel, as well as the Kibbutz Movement.
In 1982, at age 21, I got married and my wife and I emigrated to Israel to live in a kibbutz. We lived in Israel for 23 years, and that is where I became a filmmaker, director, and editor (since 1990).
We moved to the US in 2004, after I received a job offer as a Creative Director in an animation company in New York. In 2013 I founded my own video production company, dedicated to creating video content for businesses and non profits
