There are a lot of moving parts to getting a bike. Every year bike companies roll out their next year offerings in the summer after letting the current year's bike's inventories dwindle through the Spring. So usually by August bike stores are ordering and promoting their bikes for next year, however during these covid times, the whole process occurred 4 or 5 months earlier, because suppliers are low or out of most bike models as of March.

If you haven’t thought through where or how you’re going to purchase a new bike, you might give some thought right now, because if you wait, sadly, delivery dates on new bikes are only going to occur in 2023! Accordingly, either plan your new bike purchases ahead of time, or dust off your old bike and your bike fixing skills to stay active in the depth of summer!
