President, ESR Research, Ed Rubenstein is an economist and public policy professional with experience in business and journalism. He was a contributing editor at Forbes Magazine and economics editor at National Review, where his “Right Data” column was featured for more than a decade. He has written extensively on the economics of immigration. From 1997 to 2002 Mr. Rubenstein was Director of Research at the Hudson Institute, a public policy think tank then headquartered in Indianapolis. He is a graduate of Johns Hopkins (BA) and Columbia University (MA, public finance).
