We learn early on that Rob got bamboozled by a Christmas tree salesman.... or so he thinks. Also, if all else fails in the sports industry, he can chase his dream as the Sham WOW and Flex Seal infomercial host. The guys announce they will be hosting live 1 on 1's for networking on December 21st as a thank you to our listeners and courtesy of SDSU Sports MBA. Plus, it was a historic day in MiLB as the 120 teams received their invitation to remain an affiliate for the MLB franchises. Rob and Chris discuss the seismic shift that will occur within the Minor League world pertaining to not only the business operations but also the player operations for these teams. Also, what is next for the folks who unfortunately were left without an affiliation and how they should start planning their next move now. On the positive side, Rob is bullish on upcoming job opportunities and poses a question to Chris to discuss the right and wrong way to approach a job offer. Chris has a moment in his past triggered by the question and plays out a real life scenario of an employee mismanaging the situation for all young folks to avoid. Chris is celebrating 1 year later today that he still has a hand after sticking it in the snowblower!
