BI: God negotiates hard hearts by proving us wrong then giving us more chances to repent from pride and to believe and follow Him instead.

If you are obstinate, yield to the real God (ch. 5)

If you are cynical, regard again God’s strength (ch. 6)

If you are paralyzed by fear, revisit God’s promises (ch. 7:1-7)

If you are self-impressed, humble yourself before God (ch. 7:8-13)
