As all Ambassadors for Australia were called back to be informed about the new Australia foreign policy, Mr Neil Hawkins, the Australian Ambassador to Egypt, made a special visit to Al Amanah College Liverpool Campus where Mrs Faten El Dana OAM caught up with him and conducted the following interview. Mr Hawkins speaks about the relationship between Australia and Egypt, Australian assistance to Egypt especially in countering violent extremism, his latest visits to Al Azhar and his support to local Imams from Australia who are being trained in Al-Azhar University.
