Elizabeth Cochrane Seaman (pen name Nellie Bly) was a brilliant writer and undercover reporter in the late 1800's, early 1900's and despite being told she could not work as a women, she dove head first into investigating government corruption, violent insane asylums and told the entire world through her newspaper columns.
Nellie fought for women's rights in the work place, voting rights and gender equality in general.
She also took the challenge to travel around the world the fastest and set a new world record.
