In some ways, the mutant monster movie/slasher NEON MANIACS (1986) is a perfect movie. It perfectly modernises the 18th Century Fairy Tale structure, making leaps and bounds in logic in order to stick to said structure -which makes the film unique. In many ways NEON MANIACS is not perfect and we love it all the more for being so. Will and I talk about horror filmmaking in the 1980's and Neon Maniacs!
