I've been a nerd for pretty much my entire life, so it's weird to see how it went from making you a loser, to being a popular part of mainstream culture. I dive into why I think this evolution created a culture full of negativity and vitriol often targeted specifically at women.

*PLEASE NOTE* I am not supporting the negativity in nerd culture, and I definitely don't support trying to exclude people based on gender, color, etc. I am simply talking through my life experiences and observations in an attempt to get to the bottom of why nerd culture is the way it is.
