Welcome to Episode 27 of Nerd Monster Radio, with me your host, Jose Aparicio of NerdMonster.net. I'm back from a forced hiatus due to tonsil surgery. Today I wanted to go chronologically through a couple songs that have been on heavy rotation for me as of late. Some old 80s college alt rock and some new tracks. Ultimately I decided to go chronologically through the decades. Not a clear progression of styles, but a fun experiment. Of course I did cheat with Mrs Dolly Parton. While the song is technically from a compilation album released in the late 2000s it was originally recorded by her ages before. Still it is timeless and fits right in.
