We review the Netflix Movie "American Son"; which tackles the issue of race, community policing and parenting strategies. How do we teach young African-American teens to interact with the police during a routine traffic stop? Why? What issues do bi-racial teens face and how should parents from different ethnicities talk to their kids about how to interact with the police?
