Netflix Originals Releasing This Week The Frankenstein Chronicles Season 1 & Season 2 (February 20) Netflix Distributed Series - 6 episodes (season 1), 6 episodes (season 2)Re-imagining Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein into a period crime drama, Inspector John Marlott (Sean Bean), a river police officer, uncovers a corpse made up of body parts from eight missing children and sets about determining the identity of the person responsible. Season one aired on ITV in 2015, with season two airing in 2017. Watch the Season 1 trailer Forgotten (February 21) Netflix Distributed Korean Language Movie Written and directed by Hang-Jun Chang, when his older brother Yuseok gets kidnapped, Jinseok suffers from hallucination until Yuseok returns home on the 19th day with a memory loss and strange behavior. Finding himself in a hidden murder case locked in Yuseok's memory, Jinseok sets out to face a heartbreaking truth. Top Korean stars Ha-Neul Kang and Moo-Yeol Kim star as Jinseok and Yuseok. It will have a Korean theatrical release on November 29. Announcement Marseille Season 2 (February 23) Netflix Original SeriesIn this French language series, Robert Taro (Gérard Depardieu) is mayor of Marseille and on the verge of retirement. When he is betrayed his former protégé Lucas Barrès (Benoît Magimel), he decides to run for mayor again. In season 2, incumbent mayor Robert Taro in the intensive care unit while Lucas Barrès tries to oust him, but he is still nine votes short of becoming the new mayor. Season 2 Date Announcement Watch the trailer Mute (February 23) Netflix Original Movie Set in 2051 Berlin, a mute bartender searches for a girl in the city's underground. This stars Alexander Skarsgård, Paul Rudd, and Justin Theroux. Based on a story by and directed by Duncan Jones (Warcraft, Moon), this is part of a trilogy that includes Moon (2009) with Sam Rockwell.
